Apostle John
In Memoriam
This website is dedicated to the late Pastor Langford K. Mambo and his surviving wife, Jean, and their 5 children. Pastor Langford was an energetic and passionate native African Gospel minister, living and serving in Mambulu Village in Mulange, Malawi (Central Africa) in the 1990's. As Director and CEO of Grace Chapel International of Malawi (1995-2000), Pastor Mambo traveled many miles by foot and bicycle, preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, training young African Christian leaders, and providing food and medical assistance to villagers and refugees from neighboring countries. He planted nearly 300 rural village churches in southern Malawi and northern Mozambique. His personal courage, physical stamina, and selfless love for Jesus and His Church are an inspiration to many Africans today.
